About US

Palm Vista Community Church was planted in 1997 in the living room of Al and Desi Pino. Over the past three decades, God has grown us into a diverse community of redeemed sinners. Though we come from different nationalities, cultures, generations, and tax brackets, we are united by the person and work of Jesus Christ! We are passionate about understanding, applying, and sharing God's word, which calls us to be radical in our hospitality and courageous in our love for the least of these. Join us on a Sunday as we celebrate the risen Jesus and seek to make his name known from South Florida to the ends of the Earth!

in the Gospel

We love the gospel, or good news, of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man the only name by which men must be saved. The gospel is the central, unifying mesage of all the Scriptures and is the core motivation for all Christian obedience and worship.

in Scripture

We treasure the Bible as God’s very Word which is why the Scriptures are the final authority in all matters of life and doctrine. We are committed to expositional preaching, where the main point of each sermon is to explain and apply the main point of the Scriptures.

SAVED
BY GRACE

We affirm that Salvation is the free and unconditional gift of God to undeserving sinners. God’s love for his elect is a powerful engine for evangelism and good works. We affirm the “five solas” of the reformation: sola scriptura (Scripture alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone).

FILLED
WITH THE SPIRIT

We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, is actively at work building and maturing His Church by glorifying Jesus Christ and giving gifts to each member of His body. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Scripture are still given to believers today and are to be pursued and used in love to bring God glory and bless His Church.
